Do dark lips on a woman intimidate a man?
Does it give us more attention, but make us less approachable?

I think it makes us look more "Glamorous Darling" (this is me saying it in a British accent LOL)

So my sister and I went out to a nice bar called the Basement Tavern in Santa Monica this weekend, which is basically a bar in the basement of The Victorian house on Main st. pretty cool spot. But anyhow, so back to my story... she was wearing a bright red lipstick, and had a sudden thought about our different features on what attracts and doesn't attract the opposite sex.

My little sister is beautiful and confident, and just came across a thought... that maybe too much of her confidence is portrayed by wearing dark lipstick and if that might intimidate a man... but then again if a man is confident himself he shouldn't feel intimidated right?!

She also said "maybe guys just don't want to kiss lipstick and get it all over themselves, haha!"

I would love to know your thoughts about this! So men and women please comment below.

Music Festival Season is in Full Effect

Lineups are popping out from left to right!

Overwhelmed with all the different music festivals going on?
Why have some just popped up out of nowhere that you've never even heard of? And Questioning yourself WHY you have never heard of some of these amazing music festivals before that you now want to check out?!

Some tickets are now on sale, but I don't know for which one I want to buy and time is ticking!

Ahhh!!... That's exactly how I feel.... Excitement (to see some of my favorite and new artists) Curiosity (to check out a new city or state even) Anxiety (to get tickets) .... But the natural high feeling I get, surrounded by the music I love to dance to, sing to, cry to, sleep to... with amazing people who enjoys it just as much as you is such an Incredible experience!
Now which one are you going to this year?

I've gone to Coachella 4 years in a row now, and I LOVE going, but this might be the year I take a break from going, (partly because of the lineup) but mostly to check out a new one from my list below. I know there are many more I have left out, but I have chose these based on popularity, location and best lineups :)

Let me know which one you will be attending and why!

A New Year...
to build a better, stronger, happier newer version of You!

We always set new goals & resolutions for ourselves, but do we always accomplish them to our fullest potential with our whole heart dedicated to it, or do we rush into it just to check it off our list?

Whether it be building your career, setting a good example for your kids, cooking your favorite dish, dancing as if no one is watching, singing your heart out...The passion you have in your heart setting these goals will give you that much more strength and happiness in accomplishing them to your fullest potential..

... Some of my goals for 2015 are...
1. To be more productive with my time...
2. Focus more on my potential to succeed in a career
3Explore new places, in and out of California (going on adventures-hiking, road-trips etc.)...
4. Spend more time cooking more new & different healthy recipes...
5Try to overcome my fear of singing in public/even if it is karaoke Lol (I can't even believe this)...
6Continue to take more salsa, brazilian-samba, hip-hop, Jazz/funk dance classes (I love to dance)...
7I want to spend more time outdoors (at the beach, hiking, cruising on my bike)...
8I want to try harder at, spending less and saving more...

I would love you to share yours too! Use numbers 1-8 as a template to fill in yours. Can't wait to see what you all want to accomplish this year!

A New Year isn't only for new resolutions, it's a reminder to cherish every new day that comes...
A reminder to look back on your year's accomplishments then looking forward to continue on growing those goals and accomplishments into new ones.

Need some help on where to start? Challenge yourself! It's not always easy to start something new and challenging, but we all have to start somewhere and I would love to help you start here :)
Time to subtract the negatives and add only the positives!

Remember.. to excel in building a better, stronger, happier Newer version of yourself you have to focus on your goals and aspirations each and every day because everyday counts as a new day :)
